"Serves local wine in chalices and amazing sausages for very reasonable prices. Friendly service and very good local cuisine. Only accepts cash which they have written in multiple places. The outside seating is very charming and peaceful and indoor is full of character. I'd definitely come back and bring guests here."

"The restaurant itself is one of the oldest buildings in Rothenburg. Staffs are super friendly, and the service was very quick even though they were busy. I think inside tables are better than outside terraces even in summer evenings."

"Great experience here! The Resturant is cosy and authentic. Service was amazing! All staffs here are so caring. Loving it! It’s better to book a reservation prior, we just walked in with luck and got a 1.5 hour slot. The food was also really good! I would highly recommend if you are new here!"

"Great traditional German food. Small seasonal menu with a few other Bavarian staples offered. They had a long wine list that included wines from all over the world. We stuck with a local wine the waitress recommend, it was delicious. Only one pils beer on the menu, it was light and refreshing. It's asparagus season, so all of the specialty menu meals included white asparagus. It was delicious. 100% would recommend."

"One of my best dinner experiences I've had in Germany. The restaurant is obviously historic and beautiful with a fun and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was so very nice, friendly and accommodating. They explained the different courses and suggested drinks. Everything was delicious. Comfortable seating and quiet. Can't wait to go back."
